25 Bodil Kjær pieces premiering at Palazzo Litta
The interest in Bodil Kjær and the attention to her work increased at this years Salone del Mobile. More than 25 designs from Bodil Kjær's reintroduced series Elements of Architecture are now officially launched.
Palazzo Litta was the venue as FORM hosted the exhibit; Bodil Kjær — Elements of Architecture. Together with six different manufacturers we premiered the first collective showing of her work and the feedback was tremendous, best exemplified by Architectural Digest calling Bodil Kjær the "surprise star of this year's Milan Design Week". Our partner Carl Hansen & Søn premiered the Bodil Kjær Indoor/Outdoor series designed in 1959 at the fair and at their flagship store in central Milan.
During the Design Week, Republic of Fritz Hansen premiered the Cross-Plex lamp at both the fair and at their Milan Showroom.
