Bodil Kjær awarded the Prize of Honor 2018
Bodil Kjær was awarded the Prize of Honor at the 2018 Design Awards, Denmark’s most prestigious awards event for design. Bodil Kjær received the award for her lifetime practice as an architect, designer, planner and professor and for being one of the most notable Danish design names in 2018 with 25 pieces of her iconic Elements of Architecture (1955-1963) reintroduced.
Bodil Kjær was cited as a beacon to aspiring designers and an important figure of Danish design. She returned to the spotlight on a festive night among industry professionals to standing ovation from the crowd.
